People know him for being the general manager of channel Africa. The information of his death was confirmed by his family members through writing on social media. The cause of his sudden demise was claimed to be a short illness. We will come to that later in this blog. so make sure you continue your reading.
Who was Luzuko Koti?
Luzuko Koti was a well-known Business Manager in Channel Africa and former Manager at SABC’s international radio station. He had a long time of experience as a media practitioner. Luzuko spent more than 17 years in senior management.
Tata KaMihla Jantjies said remembering the old moments “Sad news indeed. Luzuko Koti is no more. I lived with him at the old Crillion Hotel in Grahamstown while studying and as we started our careers in Journalism. His first visit to Graaff-Reinet was on my invitation, on the launch of Radio Graaff-Reinet. He and Luvuyo (May he continue to RIP), did the very first broadcast and the initial training of our broadcasters.”
Later he played the role of Communications chief director at the Department of Provincial. In addition to this Koti was well remembered as Nelson Mandela Foundation spokesperson. Talking about his personal life, he was a married man with a beautiful wife and two kids. Sources confirmed he was 47 years old at the time of his sudden demise.
