We are saddened to share the passing news of Gail Skofronick Jackson, Program Manager at NASA Headquarters. The news was confirmed by NASA itself through sharing a press release. Gail was widely appreciated for her polite behavior and usefulness. “I’m so sorry. I met her years ago at a couple of TRMM/GPM science meetings and she was so nice and welcoming and just really a good person. I’m sorry for your loss there at GPM. You are such a tight and close community Red heart it must be hard.” said one on Facebook.

“We’re shocked and saddened by this news. Gail Skofronick-Jackson was incredibly supportive of our radiosonde launches after CPEX-AW was delayed and moved to the Caribbean.”
