Cody Greene was the first  State Champion in wrestling. He went to the University of Missouri. Later He becomes Seckman Wrestler and  Head Coach.  He had also been a former Mizzou wrestler. His contribution to the wrestling community is unforgettable. It was confirmed Cody Greene indulge in a terrible car accident and got severe injuries. the incident took place in Texas. Aftermath he succumbs to the complications and left his legacy so far. We will always remember him for his wrestling moves and unbeatable spirit. Under his supervision so many of his disciples done very well.

On social media, his colleagues express deep condolence for the family members. As he was a former Seckman wrestler he received condolence messages from their official page “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of former Seckman wrestler/former Head Coach, Cody Greene. From day one Cody has been the epitome of Seckman Wrestling. He was the first State Champion in the schools history and came back as a coach and led the program to multiple state team trophies. He left his mark on everyone that had the chance to be around him and will always be remembered to many as a great coach, mentor, friend, husband, father, and son. His legacy will live on forever in the Seckman Wrestling Program and we send our love and prayers to the Greene/Martin Family. Once a Jaguar, Always a Jaguar. Arrangements are TBD”

  1. Cody and I have known one another since we were about 10 years old. When I think of Cody I think of a CHAMPION with a huge HEART that was looked up to and HONORED by many. Cody was LOYALTY, STRONG, and truly one of the most kindest and thoughtful people I have ever met. I am so sorry to hear that his life was taken TO SOON!!!
    My deepest condolences to his wonderful family and to his wife and child. He will live on forever in them as well as his High School class of 2002.
