How to Run a Wii ROMS on Homebrew, PC and Xbox

In 2006, Nintendo released the Wii ROMS console. Almost immediately, users who wanted to get the most out of their system began to change their needs. Changes to the Wii allow users to watch movies, play emulation software or take backups of games on any console.

  • After selecting all the ROMS, you want to add, click the “Add to Drive” button. Wait a few seconds for the completion of the installation. 
  • Connect a USB storage device to one of your computer’s USB ports. 
  • Repeat this procedure for other Wii ROMSs stored on a USB storage device. 
  • Remove the USB storage device from your computer. 
  • Connect the USB storage device to the USB slot on the left side of the Wii console. Select your Wii system to open Homebrew Channel. 
  • Run the “USBLoader” application from the Homebrew menu. Use the Wii remote to select the game you want to play; you have to press the “A” button to start the game from your USB storage device.

The Xbox is one of the most challenging consoles to build an emulator, as the specs are demanding. The biggest problem for gamers is the lack of a suitable program for running commercial games using ISO files, although not system requirements. “Xeon” is the most reliable emulator, and although the level of support is still low, it can run the games you find in stores.
