Unfortunately, Our team had just heard about the Death of a popular diving coach named David Jenkins. Popular diving coast David was also a part of the coaching team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics but unfortunately, he died at the age of 31 only. May his departed soul Rest in peace. Who is David Jenkins?
David Jenkins was working as the Diving Development Lead Coach at GLL since January 2015. He managed the diving program completely. In his past, he had also worked as the Diving Performance Officer at Active Luton and he was the head coach for the diving club there. In short, he holds a significant position in the diving program.
His sudden Death makes everybody heartbroken as they lose a really talented coach of their life. For youngsters, David Jenkins was a great teacher who have many beautiful techniques to teach their students. But his life ended at just 31 and he left every of his student heartbroken. RIP David Jenkins.
For more than 6 years of his life, he gives as a diving/swimming coach. As he was not so popular on Social media, his Twitter account has around 350 followers. He also had a Linkedin account. All his social media account is flooded with Deep tribute and condolence paid by supporters of David.
British swimming has officially confirmed the news and wrote:
“It is with immense sadness that British Swimming can confirm the death of diving coach David Jenkins over the weekend.”

Diving Coach Obituary
At this point, an official obituary is not yet released by David’s family members.
More on David Jenkins Wikipedia, he had completed his A-Levels from The Totteridge Academy. In 2015, he received his BSc. in Sports and Exercise Science from Leeds Beckett University.
Reportedly, two of his students, Noah Williams and Scarlett Mew-Jensen were part of the Great Britain Diving Team. Moreover, he had led Team England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. The same year, he was nominated for the Diving Coach of the Year award. You can imagine, how great a coach he was. He will definitely be missed by everyone who knows him.

31-year-old diving coach David Jenkins passed away and left all his students, family members, and friends unbroken behind. Huge social media posts were circulating paying tribute to his Death. His place can never be filled with any other Diving coach no matter how talented he/she will be. His young aged death is a never forgettable incident that happen with his family.
